Note: The Tokens feature is available for Belden Horizon Data Manager 2.7.0 and later.
The Tokens module allows you to create, view, and remove long-term tokens that can access your Belden Horizon Data Manager companies and their projects. These tokens help facilitate better communication between a Belden Horizon Data Manager and its Belden Horizon Data Operations instances. These tokens are best utilized within a CI/CD script to manage Belden Horizon Data Manager and its Belden Horizon Data Operations instances.
Each token has three built-in attributes that define their characteristics and purposes:
- Token name
- Time to live: The expiration date of the token
- Scope: The permissions the scope has and how many companies/projects the token can access
Access Tokens UI
To access the Tokens UI:
- Log in to the Belden Horizon Data Manager Admin Console.
- From the Navigation panel, select Settings. Settings' Domain/SSL pane by default appears.
- From Settings' navigation sub-panel, select Tokens. Settings' Tokens pane appears.
