Before you can begin, you must install Belden Horizon Data Manager using the VMWare ESXi application, and then launch the new virtual machine to open the Terminal User Interface (TUI). This allows you to view the IP address needed to open the virtual machine from a web browser.

There are three ways to install Belden Horizon Data Manager:

After your installation, you can log in to the Belden Horizon Data Manager Admin Console. See Access to Belden Horizon Data Manager for more information.

The Belden Horizon Data Manager Admin Console can be accessed at the host IP address using port 8446. For example, https://x.x.x.x:8446.

The installation gives a one-time password for your first login. You must reset this password. See Access to Belden Horizon Data Manager for more information.

Tip: You can change your settings using the Terminal User interface (TUI). To log in using the Terminal window, use the following credentials: username: em_setup password: edgemanager
