Log in with Authentication

After configuring LDAP, you must select a Provider ID when logging in to Belden Horizon Data Operations.

The username is from the LDAP server. The password must match the Bind DN Password from the configuration. See Add an LDAP/AD Provider for more information.

The Internal authentication Provider appears in the ID selection list. If you do not select another ID, Belden Horizon Data Operations uses the non-configurable default provider ID.

Belden Horizon Data Operations uses a self-signed Certificate. Follow the browser guidelines for how to bypass a self-signed security error message. See Browser Access Restrictions for more information.

To log in with authentication:

Enter the Belden Horizon Data Operations IP address into a browser add/URL bar. For example: https://172.20.20.109.
From the log in window, enter the authentication details:
- Username: Enter the LDAP Server user name.
- Enter Password: Enter the password from the Bind DN configuration.
- Provider ID: Select openldap.
Click Log In.
